What Does ASB Stand For?
ASB stands for Associated Student Body. ASB provides a forum in which students can address school and/or community related issues while growing and modeling leadership amongst themselves. It consists of a group of BHS students who are also dedicated to building school spirit and creating a positive school culture. To achieve that goal, we raise funds, and sponsor events year-round. Students brainstorm, plan, organize, and execute events. Past events include School Lock-Ins, Teacher vs. Student Games, Spirit Weeks, Senior Sunset, Movie Nights, Christmas Parades, Talent Shows, Pep Rallies, Field Trips, and more. ASB works to tackle problems and create solutions. The expectation is not to be perfect but to make progress and learn from our experiences. Students develop employability skills by working with the resources available to them, collaborating with one another, problem solving and being innovative while making BHS a better place.
